Career
In the 79th minute of their 0-0 FA Cup home tie with Newport County, Fletcher—who had previously represented the club’s youth team—was elevated to the first team. He entered the game to fill in for Craig Tanner.
He signed a professional contract in the summer of 2017, and in the EFL Trophy group stage match against Chelsea U-21s, he made his first debut for the club in a game of any significance.
Thanks to Fletcher’s two goals in the closing two minutes of regulation, Argyle overcame a deficit to win on penalties.
In a League One encounter that Fleetwood Town won by a score of 2-1, Fletcher scored his first goal as a professional.
On January 4, 2018, Fletcher accepted a loan with Torquay United while the team was still last in the National League. The term of the loan was 28 days.
After that, he only made three more appearances for Torquay before the club decided not to use its option to extend his suspension.
On September 3, 2019, Fletcher made his National League debut with Aldershot Town, initially on a one-month loan from his previous team.
On December 7, 2019, he signed a month-long loan agreement with Southern League team Tiverton Town F.C.
Eventually, the contract was extended for an extra 28 days[11] and then through the end of the current season.
He rejoined the Tiverton squad as a full-time player at the start of the following campaign.
In January 2021, Fletcher relocated from Tiverton Town to Bath City after paying an undisclosed amount.
Fletcher’s collision with advertising hoardings at the side of the pitch at Teton Park on November 8, 2022, resulted in the game being abandoned shortly after. Fletcher thus suffered serious injuries.
He was urgently taken to the intensive care unit and had a neurosurgical surgery.
