German celebrity Mabuse rose to prominence in 2007 after joining singer and former Eurovision Song Contest participant Guildo Horn on stage for a dance performance during Let’s Dance’s second season on RTL. Prior to being eliminated from the fifth show, the couple finished sixth.
She competed in the third season of the programme in 2010 with Rolf Scheider, a former member of the Germany’s Next Topmodel jury, and finished in fifth place. They had been eliminated earlier in the first show, but after Arthur Abraham voluntarily retired, they returned. Since 2011, Mabuse has been on the jury alongside Jorge Gonzalez and Joachim Llambi.
