Motsi Mabuse, a dancer of South African and German descent, was born on April 11, 1981. Mabuse was enrolled at the University of Pretoria with the intention of studying law and working for a family law firm, but she quickly discovered her passion for dance.

They had been eliminated earlier in the first show, but after Arthur Abraham voluntarily retired, they returned. Since 2011, Mabuse has been on the jury alongside Jorge Gonzalez and Joachim Llambi.
