Nikita Nguyen, a make-up artist, model, and YouTuber, was born on January 31, 1996. In the professional world, she goes by the name Nikita Dragun.
Despite having received her secondary education in the U.S. state of Virginia, Nikita Nguyen was born in Belgium.
She is of Vietnamese and Mexican origin, and she came out as a trans woman when she was a teenager.
She has openly and honestly explained her transition in a number of videos that Nguyen has posted on YouTube.
Nguyen signed up for YouTube in February 2013. She said, “Right about then, I started to pick up a few brand deals here and there… Around that time, I also decided to start taking Instagram and YouTube more seriously. In 2015, while already lived in Los Angeles, she came forward to say that she was a transgender woman. As of the month of October 2021, she has over 3.54 million YouTube subscribers, 9 million Instagram followers, and 14.5 million TikTok followers.
In response to remarks made by Ed Razek, chief marketing officer for L Brands, who claimed that transgender people shouldn’t be allowed to participate in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Performance because “the show is a fantasy,” Nguyen released a video of herself on Twitter while wearing underwear. In the aforementioned tweet, Nguyen contends that trans women are capable of communicating imagination.
She announced that she would be launching Dragun Beauty, a makeup line, in March 2019.
The cosmetics brand serves the transgender community as well as the wider public in addition to the mainstream market.
Nikita cited the fact that all of her goods are vegan and free of any kind of animal testing as one of the factors in her choice to start her own business.  During a June 2019 interview with the LGBT radio network Channel Q, Nguyen was questioned about her makeup line. During the conversation, she confessed that the inspiration for Dragun Beauty and its products came from her own experience as a transgender woman building her brand.
Nikita will star as the lead character in her very own Snapchat docuseries titled “Nikita Unfiltered,” which was first announced in September 2019. The show follows transgender woman Nguyen as she deals with fame, her yearning for love fulfilment, and her search for “a different route” in her career. On March 21, 2020, the first episode of the series aired.
On July 21, 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 epidemic, Nguyen organised a surprise birthday celebration for well-known YouTuber Larri Merritt in the Hype House estate.  The party was attended by a number of online celebrities, including James Charles, Charli D’Amelio, and Dixie D’Amelio. The number of COVID-19 cases in California had recently surpassed those in New York at the time of the celebration.
There were reportedly 67 people there, the most of whom did not appear to be donning face masks despite the area health authority’s recommendation. On November 7, 2022, police in Miami Beach, Florida, claimed to have seen Nguyen spraying policemen and other staff members at The Goodtime Hotel as she was just wearing her underwear and strolling about the pool area. Nguyen was then brought into jail. According to the police report, officers were called to the hotel after receiving a report of someone acting “extremely unrulily” and causing a disturbance there. After being accused of the misdemeanour crime of disorderly conduct, she was brought into custody at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami-Dade County with a $5,000 bond.
